Rain

When I lie in bed and dream of you,
And all the times weve had,
Sometimes it makes my heart feel blue,
Sometimes I feel so sad;
When its cold outside and rain falls down,
Theres no stars in the sky,
I look for one but none are found,
To wish for you and I;
The wind will blow my way again,
And make my heart feel pain,
I dont know how, I dont know when,
But can you stop the rain;
When I miss the one I love,
And feel like Im insane,
I look and pray to God above,
And then He stops the rain;
When it stops I feel alive,
For rain is hurt and fears,
No longer will I have to cry,
For the rain I speak of was my tears.

Inner Sanctum

On the wings of darkness,
I travel everyday,
Further and further I go,
Very far away;
Down into a valley,
Where fears my dearest friend,
Going through this puzzled maze,
Searching for the end;
Longing for my sanity,
To make its way to me,
Before I reach a crossroad,
And have to set my demons free;
There are so many times,
When I must make a choice,
And the paths arent always easy,
When theres two side to the voice;
Yet theres always a place where I can go,
A place where I can hide,
And help the one who needs me most,
When I meet myself inside.

Look into my babys eyes,
That is where Ill be,
All my heart and soul,
Is there for you to see;
Look into my babys eyes,
Ill always be right there,
Staring back at you,
To let you know I care;
Look into my babys eyes,
When you start to feel alone,
Just because Im not around,
Doesnt mean Im gone;
Look into my babys eyes,
And all the dreams inside,
They will take away the hurt,
And all the tears youve cried;
Look into my babys eyes,
And look into my heart,
Ill always be with you,
Even when we are apart.

Lost

Beyond the center of the heart,
In a corner of the mind;
Buried within the soul,
You are not too hard to find.
Trapped inside my dreams,
Captured in my eyes;
A prisoner to all my thoughts,
All my reasons why.
In every tear I cry,
In all the blood I shed;
I long to feel your touch,
But only hurt instead.
Although you are inside,
Im lost without you near;
Letting go of hope,
And holding onto fear.
So when you find yourself,
Try to find me too;
Because no matter where Im at,
Im lost if Im not with you.

Pain

From my pain I cannot hide,
Its always haunting me;
Sometimes love is like suicide,
Pain, for others not to see;
I cry for help but you do not hear,
You only shut me out;
I try to tell you of my fear,
But you just get mad and shout;
The knife you stabbed into my heart,
Cut away my soul;
I begged you that we never part,
But still you let me go;
Now my life is upside down,
Im spinning in a daze;
You said youd always be around,
I guess that was just a phase;
Im asking for a little love,
Is that too hard to give;
If it is just let me know,
Because it hurts too much to live.

What Is Love

What is love without you near,
To hold you in my arms;
What is love when youre not here,
To keep me from all harms;
It still is love,but it has pain,
It still feels good but hurts as well;
Its like a cloud but without rain,
Its like Heaven inside Hell;
What is love so far away,
With many miles between;
What is love when I cant say,
To you, the things you mean;
What is love that has to wait,
A day or two too long;
It is a love that God has made,
It is a love thats strong.
