I Cant Tell You Goodbye

When stars are shining in the sky,
And the moon is glowing bright,
Ill try really hard, not to cry,
As I think of you tonight;
Time is growing short each day,
Im far without you near,
Im alone each time you go away,
Wishing you were here;
My heart grows stronger all the time,
When I picture your beautiful eyes,
Everyday you come to me,
To see you, is a suprise;
I love you so, and always will,
Until the day I die,
No matter what my heart should feel,
I cant tell you goodbye.

I Was Blessed When I Found You

Even though youre far away,
Youre in my heart and soul,
Youre right beside me every day,
No matter where I go;
You come to me when Im asleep,
You kiss away my pain,
The love you shed on me is deep,
It falls on me like rain,
In my heart is where you are,
In everything I do,
The moon and sun,and all the stars,
Means nothing without you;
You bring new meaning to my life,
You make each day seem new,
Youve always been right by my side,
I was blessed when iI found you.

Where Do Angels Go

Where do angels go,
When they're not watching over you?
Do they lay their heads to rest,
Like all of us must do?
Where do angels go,
When waters seem too deep?
When you really need them most,
Are they ever fast asleep?
Where do angels go,
When you feel youre all alone,
Are they still there by your side,
Or are they really gone?
Where do angels go,
When you need them by your side?
Angels never go away,
Angels never hide;
They're always watching over you,
To help you back to shore,
When you really need them most,
They're with you forever more.

Within My Heart

Today is a time that we all must pray,
That God will see us through;
That we will find love in every way,
And in everything we do;
From within my heart I come to you,
And share with you my soul;
From within my heart, I know its you,
That makes my life seem whole;
Your love is made of many things,
No others can compete;
With all the care your loving brings,
It makes my world complete;
To lose your love, or be in hell,
They are nothing to compare;
Yet Ill always feel, and know as well,
Your love, its always there;
So from within my heart I owe you much,
For all the things you give;
Your embracing smile, your loving touch,
Without them I could not live.

Hope

All I want is hope and I trust this is your answer,
That I have just an outside chance to beat this lousy cancer.
What does it hurt to say, yes, you can beat your lousy cancer,
Even though you know I already know the answer.
But answer no, and all my hope is done.
You could have been more merciful and killed me with a gun.
When you took away my hope, it was like a piercing knife.
You didn't take just my hope, you took my very life.

It Seems like Only Yesterday

It seems like only yesterday when we were very young,
It seems like only yesterday when two became as one.
And then the joy of a baby boy and then another one.
I can hear them talk and see them walk,
And watch them laugh at play
Was it really only yesterday?
They were little boys with lots of toys
Growing older day by day.
We grew older too somewhere along the way.
Now the Lord has come and taken you away,
And all I have is beautiful memories of you and yesterday.
We had a lot of laughter and a little bit of pain.
We had a lot of sunshine and a little bit of rain.
If I had to do it over I'd do it all the same,
And I'd have these beautiful memories of you and yesterday.
